Is the color I see the color I'll get? All the photos have been prepared to give the truest colors possible. However, not all computer monitors are the same. We cannot guarantee that the colors of the print you see on your monitor will be matched in the print, but they will be the true colors the photographer saw.
Are there quantity discounts? We do offer quantity discounts if you are ordering more than 15 prints of the same image. Those orders are handled a bit differently and are custom done. Please call us at (907) 276-1343 to order.

Do you offer framing or matting of prints? Sorry, No. We don't offer a framing or matting service as there are too many personal choices for matte colors and frame styles to make it cost-effective.
Do you offer other size prints or other gift items? At this point the print sizes we offer are only: 8x12, 11x14 & 16x20. The gift items we offer are: Wall Calendar, 11 oz. Coffee Mug, and Mouse Pads.

How do I know which photographer took the picture? The photographer's signature will be on the bottom right or left hand corner of the photo.
What if I am not satisfied with the quality of the photo? Our lab, Printroom.com guarantees the quality of the prints. If you have any problems simply contact printroom.com at: 510.580.3682 (Pacific Coast Time) and they will answer any questions or concerns you may have.
What if I find a photo at your sister company www.alaskastock.com and want a print of that but don't see it at AlaskanPhotos.com? We are happy to make custom order prints from any of our photos on our commercial stock agency site. Because these are custom orders, the prices reflect this. The prices are: 8x12 - $85 11x17 - $135 12x18 - $155 Plus $8 shipping per order. Larger Custom sizes can be made, call us for a quote at 907-276-1343.
What Technology is used to print the photos? Our lab uses digital printers with the highest quality silver halide chemical process as used by regular photo finishers. This is direct digital continuous tone printing, which produces stunning photographic prints far superior to ink-jets or dye sublimation printers.
What type of paper do you use? The photographs are printed on real photo paper, which comes in 250 to 300ft rolls. In addition to the superior photo quality output, the real photo paper is durable and resistant to fading. Just like regular film-based photographs, you can select matte or glossy finish.
Will my prints last? Our lab's photographs LAST! With their state of the art printing process, images will not fade away and the long-term results are the same as standard high quality 35mm photos.
Can I use the photo I buy on my website or Christmas card? No. The prints you purchase from this site may only be used as photo wall décor prints for your home or office. They may NOT be reproduced in any way nor used for any commercial applications including websites, trade shows or public viewing. If you wish to make Christmas cards, you must order the cards from this site. Any reproduction of the photo is considered copyright infringement.
How long will the images be kept in the shopping cart? The shopping cart is emptied when your order is placed or after 7 days of inactivity.
Do you use secure ordering? Yes. When you place an order all information (including the credit card transaction) is encrypted using our lab's secure software server (SSL) before it is sent over the internet. The lab's Secured Server can only read this information and data.
How long will it take to ship my photographs? All orders are processed in 3 business days or less. After the order is processed, it will be shipped from printroom.com. Shipping times will vary depending on the mail service you select: US Postal Service, Priority, or Express mail.
Must I order on-line or may I call AlaskanPhotos to place the order? In order to give the lowest print prices possible, all ordering must be done on-line with our lab partner. However, that said, you may call us to place your order and we will, in turn, go on-line to place your order for you.
How do I check my order status? Go to www.printroom.com/pro/AlaskanPhotos Once you are Logged In, click on the My Orders button. There you will see a summary of all your orders including Order #, Date, Amount, and Order Status. You may click on any Order # to view the order details. If the order status is: In Print Queue, you have the ability to change or modify your address (not state due to tax implications), paper type, zoom to fill, and auto correct. Once the order has been printed, no changes will be accepted.
